I think most of my readers know what a huge Dr. Brene Brown fan I am. I have blogged about her Ted Talks, her books and frequently bring her work into other discussions. I can’t tell you how many people I have told about her TED Talks – The Power of Vulnerability and Listening to Shame.
The other day I got a big thrill. I received a call from Harpo Studios owned by Oprah Winfrey. One of Oprah’s current projects is Oprah’s Lifeclass and Harpo Studios is in the process of doing a Lifeclass with Brene Brown! It turns out that while doing research they found my blog and called to ask me about my interest in Dr. Brown’s work both personally and professionally. It was very exciting to have the opportunity to give my thoughts on her work.
Keep your eyes open for the Lifeclass sometime in the future. I’m sure it will be a great one!
