About Me

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Madison, Wisconsin.  I work with individuals, couples and families using a systemic approach to therapy.  I have an eclectic style but rely heavily on interventions from the Existential, Structural and several Post-Modern theories.

A particular area of interest for me is “alternatives.”  In other words, any situation where a person or people have thoughts, feelings and/or lifestyles that are different than society traditionally expects.  This can be in any ares such as sex, gender identification, gender roles, religion, or anywhere that a person feels he or she is “out of sync” with societal expectations.  My approach is not to “fix” the person but to help the person maximize their happiness and functioning.
