Tip of the Week – Our Brain and Money

MoneyOur brain isn’t always our friend when it comes to money. A new study shows how much our brains assume price indicates quality. A University of California – San Diego study recently had a winery price the same wine at $10, $20 and $40. The winery sold 50% more wine when it was priced at $20 leading researchers to theorize that it was because of the assumption that the price reflected the quality.  The next time you make a purchase don’t let price alone influence your judgment of quality.
