Thought for the Week…

small stepsIt would be great if we could always make changes in one fell swoop. But it seldom happens that way. Change is more often a gradual process of taking small steps forward mixed with the occasional step backward. That means we need to be compassionate with ourselves, and others, when change is happening. If we judge success with a pass/fail system we will almost always fail. But when we understand that moving in the right direction is success then we succeed more often.
