One of the most powerful things I do in therapy is work with perspectives. Sometimes it is getting an individual to see a different perspective for themself. Other times it is getting them to see the perspective of someone else, even if they don’t want to have that perspective themself. But we know that seeing situations from different perspectives can be incredibly powerful and empowering. It helps us to understand that reality can be different for different people. In other words, where you stand makes a difference.
I usually try to keep my blog posts at about 500 words. But I saw something that demonstrated this concept incredibly well. So forgive me for having a blog post that is over 4,100 words today. The good news? 4,000 of the words are in pictures…
